This year's Festival theme was "Unity and Co-operation"
It was a wonderful day, weather wise, sunny and with just a tad of wind that made things interesting sometimes. We had close to 1,000 visitors - it was, after all, the first non-rainy day since the State Fair opened. But all the visitors we had were absolutely wonderful. It was an enlightening experience, and our seminar speakers were wonderful.
We have to thank so many people who have gathered together to make this event possible.
To all our sponsors, volunteers and supporters, heartfelt thanks. Thank you for being there, thank you for helping throughout the year.
The opening Circle was powerful, and we hope it will bring the necessary spirit in our community.
Last but not least, the 2012 donations beneficiary was Second Chance Animal Sanctuary in Norman. During the Festival, three dogs found new forever homes, and many donations of pet food, leashes, treats, disinfectants, money and other were gathered. We thank everybody for supporting and helping this wonderful place! |

Well, we do have some news!
For one, this year we are shooting for a Pagan Pride Day in the park again.
Vendors who will "pledge" early to be present this year, will have a reduction in the participation fee.
If you are a pagan entertainer, dancer, drummer, musician, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to make yourself known in the community (yes, yes, tip jars are accepted, and you will have the opportunity to sell your materials for free to the welcome stand of the PPD!).
But that is not all.
We have some surprises for you!
We have decided to have some events for fund raising. The cost of having a Pagan Pride Day is quite steep, so we have to make the necessary money somehow. Due to the economy, the sponsorship is not as high this year.
So, here are the news for now:
We will have a series of workshops through April, May, June and July. More TBA.
We will have a FAIRIES BALL in June. Yes, and with all kinds of surprises: raffle auction, costume prizes, and more!
And we are aiming for more events!
Tickets for these events will be sold online as well as on-site.
So, visit our site often (or subscribe to the newsletter) and you will be up-to date!
We hope to see you soon!
